Brickell Irish Pub Darts and Billard Tournament Regulations

Players must be 21 years of age.
Players must register 30 mins. before the tournament begins.
Driver License is required from all players.
All players will be assigned a registration code number.

BIP requires an initial buy-in in order to play in the tournament, all monies collected via the buy-in will go to the first place tournament winner

Note: BIP it's proud to support several charities within our comunity and once a month tournaments will be held and all buy-ins will be distributed strictly to support these charities. BIP will award the tournament winner with a sponsored gift certificated or directly from BIP.
The rules of the tournament will be given to every player during registration.

Players caught cheating will be disqualified inmediatly from play and from future BIP events.
Any disputes between players will be settled by tournament judges and are final.

What does it cost to play?
Nothing besides the buy-in. BIP does not require drink or food purchases, however, BIP encourage you to support your host location.

Is it legal?

Florida State statutes define gambling as having three distinct characteristics: Prize, Chance, and Consideration. If any of these three characteristics are missing, the tournament complies within Florida State law. In this case the game of Billards or Darts are consider "Games of skill," if crafted correctly, are legal game promotions in every state. Their winner(s) are selected based upon the skill of the contestant (for example, an essay writing contest). In contrast, "games of chance" are illegal games in the United States unless one of the three traditional elements -- prize, chance and consideration -- is removed.
